Certificate IV in Government Investigations
PSP40416
An organisation wanting a contextualised course relevant to our regulatory role and delivered via Face to Face or Virtual Classroom to our employees.
The Certificate IV in Government Investigations provides the skills and knowledge to conduct ethical and fair investigations. The course focuses on the principles for efficient and effective investigations across and regulatory or compliance scope.

Surviving the Regulatory Environment Workshop
2 Days interactive workshop focusing on the organisations operational environment
This workshop addresses personal risk management strategies for operational risks associated with regulatory processes. The workshop includes strategy development aimed at achieving effective communication and de-escalation tactics. It is enhanced with practical exercises and aligned with the operational environment of the client agency. This workshop is currently only available as an in-house workshop.
Investigative Skills Workshop
This workshop is aimed at students who have completed a Certificate IV in Government Investigation qualification. ICETS conducts a three day workshop primarily aimed at refreshing and enhancing knowledge gained in the Cert IV in Government Investigations. There are no formal assessments rather a series of scenarios based on key theoretical knowledge of the investigative process. Students will receive a certificate of attendance on completion of the workshop.
A five day investigative skills course can be developed for students to complete up to eight units of competency from the qualification. This option is for investigative roles which are not regulatory based. Students will receive a statement of attainment on successful completion of the units of competency within the program.
Investigative Interviewing Workshop
The Investigative Interviewing Workshop combines the principles of conversation management and the P.E.A.C.E interviewing model to provide a detailed understanding of an effective interviewing process. The workshop is modualised so can be built to suit the client organisation needs and availability.
With interactive scenarios built in to the program, participants have first hand experience in a supported environment. This workshop is best suited to small group with a specific learner to facilitator ratio to maximise interaction.
