Qualification Description

This qualification covers the competencies required by a person responsible for the coordination and conduct of investigations. It is suitable for individuals who apply integrated technical and theoretical concepts in a broad range of contexts to undertake advanced skilled duties in a government investigations environment. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

To be awarded the qualification students must be graded competent in all assessments for 11 units of competency within a 24 month enrollment period. Enrollment periods beyond the designated 24 month period will incur additional fees.

  Having supervised the teams that undertake government investigations, I wanted to upskill myself in the investigations techniques themselves. I was recommended ICETS by the Ombos, and I can certainly see why! Definitely worth every cent and second I spent on this course. Nadine was amazing, the skills I learned especially in Mods 8 & 9 will go beyond just investigations. I did this via distance education, and I can't highly recommend them enough.   I have completed several CertIV trainings previously and ICETS was by far the best structured and facilitated course I have seen so far. I completed the Cert IV Government Investigations in the Virtual Classroom format. I was impressed by the efficiency of their aXcelerate and COMtrac software systems and the wealth of real life on the job experience that our facilitator had. For someone who is organised and time poor, this was the perfect course for completing all of the required theoretical and practical assessments within the allocated class times (plus a few extra hours I did on a Sunday). Dave was also very good at keeping things entertaining. I highly recommend this course.
