Certificate IV in Government Investigations

For general public students ICETS provides facilitator led face to face and virtual classroom intensive courses for the Certificate IV in Government Investigation qualification. Our course program consists of 15 specified units of competency. The face to face and virtual courses are structured on the same base timetable covering theory for 13 units of competency. The course assessments are based on mock legislation written specifically for the program.

Public students can also elect to complete the qualification via our distance learning program. This is completely student driven with all resources provided along with remote tutorial assistance.

The enrollment period for completion of the Certificate IV in Government Investigation qualification is 12 months from date of course commencement.

Diploma of Government Investigations

ICETS provides the Diploma of Government Investigations to public students via a distance learning pathway.

This method has been shown to be the most effective means of delivery versus an intensive course program. Our course program consists of 11 specified units of competency with 24 months to complete the qualification.

In-House Programs

ICETS can develop a contextualised course program (In-House) for organisations specific to their regulatory or investigative scope. ICETS will work with the organisation to create specified assessment requirements and general learning outcomes which relate to the student’s investigative role. These projects incur an additional cost and require time for development. They can be delivered using a face to face or virtual learning pathway.

In-house programs can be contextualised to focus on specific units of competency rather than the full Certificate IV in Government Investigations qualification. ICETS will work with our clients to construct a program focusing on units of competency relevant to the organisation’s investigative environment.Public students can also elect to complete the qualification via our distance learning program. This is completely student driven with all resources provided along with remote tutorial assistance.

The enrollment period for completion of the Certificate IV in Government Investigation qualification is 12 months from date of course commencement.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

ICETS can assess RPL applications for either qualification as part of other learning pathway options or award of the full qualification (Fees apply).

Non-Accredited Workshops

ICETS has a suite of non-accredited workshops aimed at key investigative functions. These workshops can be contextualised on request for a fee.
